Arsenal complete signing of Willian on a free transfer
Brazilian winger signed a three-year contract with the north London club after leaving Chelsea
Arsenal have completed the signing of Brazilian winger Willian from local rivals Chelsea on a three-year deal.
The 32-year-old joined Chelsea in 2013 from Russian club Anzhi Makhachkala and made 339 appearances for the Blues scoring 63 goals in his seven years of stay at the Stamford Bridge.
Willian, who won the Premier League twice with Chelsea will add the experience to the young attacking side of Gunners consists of Gabriel Martinelli, Bukayo Saka and Joe Willock. He announced his departure from the club after seven years of stay via Twitter on Sunday.
Chelsea finished the season in fourth place while Arsenal finished on the eighth spot and qualified for the Europa League after winning the FA Cup.
