Leeds United seal Rodrigo transfer on a record deal
Spain International signed a four-year contract at the Elland Road after joining from Valencia in a club-record deal worth £27million.
Leeds United have confirmed the signing of striker Rodrigo from Spanish club Valencia in a club-record deal after agreeing on a fee around £27million (€30million).
Rodrigo has scored 10 goals for both club and country last season arrived at the Elland Road after spending six years at Valencia where scored 59 goals in 220 appearances.
A product of Real Madrid’s youth academy, Rodrigo previously played for Bolton Wanderers in the Premier League during the 2010/11 season after joining on loan from Benfica and has also represented Real Madrid B team.
Marcelo Bielsa’s side will return to the Premier League after an absence of 16 years after being relegated from the English top-flight in 2004.
Rodrigo has represented Spain 22 times and scored eight goals for his country.
Leeds will open their Premier League campaign on September 12 against champions Liverpool.
