Tottenham sign Sergio Reguilon from Real Madrid on a five-year deal
Spanish left-back joins Gareth Bale in moving to the North London club after the club paid a fee in the region of €30 million.
Tottenham have announced the signing of Spanish international left-back Sergio Reguilon from La Liga Champions Real Madrid for a fee of around €30 million on a five-year deal.
Reguilon spent last season on loan with Sevilla and helped the team to Europa League triumph where he starred along with fourth-place finish in the points table.
His impressive form for Sevilla earned him his first senior cap for Spain during this month and was also linked with clubs like Manchester United, Paris Saint Germain and Chelsea.
The 23-year-old becomes Tottenham’s second signing of Saturday following the arrival of Gareth Bale, who joined on a season-long loan from Real Madrid.
Tottenham face Southampton on Sunday in their second Premier League game of the 2020/21 season.
